Ministry	Description
Church Aid Leader: Leroy Richards	Ministry Description: To offer assistance when family crises occur, such as illness, death, or other traumatic situation; to offer comfort and encouragement for the personal well-being of those experiencing the trauma. To also offer financial assistance to assist the sick, needy, or to the family of deceased members. Member's Profile: Adults who have love and compassion for those experiencing hurt during times of illness, bereavement, other situational crises, and for the needy in general.
Hunger Center Leader: Beverly Chisholm	Ministry Description: Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Hunger Center serves approximately 50 families twice a month January through October. In November and December we serve some 500 plus families with the help of People of the Way Ministries and Brother Doug Blakenship. Our funds are basically provided by the Hunger Network of Cleveland and food is purchased with the funds from the Cleveland Food Bank. Members Profile: Members have patience and trust in God's provision, as well as the desire to help those in their time of physical and spiritual need. Seniors Leader: Nolene Ford	Ministry Description: To provide activities for seniors including one-day outings, crafts, guest speakers on health care and other issues relevant to seniors, religious leadership, and money management; to also donate and provide assistance to various establishments and organizations; open to all seniors in the community. Member's Profile: Those seasoned saints in their mid-50s through mid-80s from various churches, neighborhoods, and religious backgrounds.
Shoes & Clothes for Kids Leader: Beverly Chisholm	Ministry Description: Mt Sinai is one of the distribution partners of Shoes & Clothes for Kids who furnishes us with clothing, shoes, school supplies and Payless gift cards for families with no or little income usually five times a year. Families are served on a first come first served basis. We don't have a standard distribution day but we usually seek a date for about a week after we receive the clothing. We have many volunteers who help sort clothes and help parents pick out clothes for their children and grandchildren. Member's Profile: The SCK ministry has several volunteers who helpsort clothes and help parents pick out clothing for their children.
Substance Abuse Leaders: Jerry Daniels	Ministry Description: To provide organized activities including discussion groups, educational sessions about the disease of alcoholism and addiction, bible study and principles, and intercessory prayer meetings intended to create an opportunity for spiritual awakenings and a new or renewed relationship with Jesus Christ. Members Profile: Men, women and families who struggle with substance abuse.
Transportation Leader: Larry Ford	Ministry Description: To provide transportation for those in need to ministry, community, and other related activities. Transportation must be requested and arranged in advance. Members Profile: Those who enjoy transporting children, youth, and adults and possess appropriate vehicle operator training and licensure along with a satisfactory driving record.
